What is the right thing to do???

Is it right to take students out of their normal schools and into a gifted school? There are cons and pros to this argument. One of the good things about it is the advanced students are being challenged at the gifted schools. Grade skipping is also good because students can be with other people that think the same. The bad thing about it is that when they are younger they could be picked on. Those reasons are why the argument on grade skipping and higher learning is a tough one. What do you think?

I agree Sam. Grade skipping obviously worked for you but you have to remember that these students are skipping more than one grade. That's why I think a gifted school would be better.

i think a diff skewl would make the smart kids feel left out or not wanted...then again it would give them the education they need

I feel that it would be more beneficial to keep the students in public schools than to allow them to leave and go to Charter Schools. One reason I feel this way is because the public school setting is similar to what their workplace will someday look like. They will have to get used to working with people with lesser IQ's.
